Abstract:
This article is devoted to the study of the problem of elective mutism in children in the literature, its relevance in the modern world, etiology, pathogenesis, the consideration of speech therapy work with children to overcome elective mutism, the search for optimal methods for correcting elective mutism, the role of a speech therapist in working with children with elective mutism , speech therapy exercises in work with children suffering from elective mutism, the interaction of a speech therapist and educational psychologist in the correction of elective mutism. This work can be useful for teachers, speech therapists, educational psychologists.
