dc.description.abstract The motivation of students to effectively learn and complete their education is a key priority for education systems. This paper explores ways in which technology can be used to enhance students’ language learning motivation, particularly for those students who experience the greatest risk of failing to finish their education. Our research presents aspects of motivation that are discussed in the literature. The first part deals with definition of motivation from psychological and pedagogical views. The second part describes methods for increasing language learning motivation of students. The third part focuses on new educational technologies to engage and motivate students. All suggested technologies were tested during the study at the institute and teaching practice at a secondary school. ru_RU
